Clinical Use of the Adult Attachment Interview (AAI)

Dr. Zack Bein is a Psychologist, Certified Mindfulness Meditation Instructor, Relational Coach, and One-on-One mentor. He has been practicing and studying meditation for 20 years. His doctoral research was in mindfulness treatments for trauma and substance abuse in post combat veterans. He currently specializes in assessing and treating adults with attachment and relational difficulties. He has particular expertise in Integrative Attachment Therapy based on 3 Pillars and Ideal Parent Figure work and the Adult Attachment Interview. Dr Zack has become reliable through the AAI Institute to score AAIs. More specifically, he has authored a chapter to be published in the sequel to the seminal text, Clinical Applications of the Adult Attachment Interview, edited by Howard and Miriam Steele, where he details how to use the AAI properly and ethically to inform therapy.
